Inauguration of Hubli-Pune Vande Bharat Express Postponed to September 16, Route Details HereÂ
The launch of the Vande Bharat Express connecting Pune and Hubli has been postponed from its original date of September 15 to September 16. Prime Minister Narendra Modi is scheduled to flag off the inaugural run virtually from Jamshedpur.
Railway officials from the Pune Division confirmed the delay, stating that the trial run will now take place at 11 AM on September 16. Public Relations Officer Ram Paul Barpagga emphasized that this is a significant development, though a final service schedule has yet to be determined.
The Vande Bharat Express will provide a faster travel option on the Pune-Hubli route. The train will depart Hubli at 5 AM and reach Pune by 1:30 PM, with a brief halt before returning to Hubli at 2:30 PM, completing the journey by 10 PM. The travel time for each leg is around 8.5 hours, making it a convenient option for passengers.
