In Indrayani Nagar, the ownership of all properties in each sector previously belonged to the Pune Metropolitan Region Development Authority (PMRDA). MLA Mahesh Landge championed the cause to make these properties freehold, tirelessly advocating for this change. He raised this issue in the legislative assembly, pushing for a government resolution to make the properties freehold. Mahesh Landge, the official candidate of the BJP-Shiv Sena-NCP-RPI alliance in Bhosari Assembly Constituency, recently met with residents in Ward 8. Starting from Sector 13, his interactions included stops at Rajmata Jijau, Sara, and Spine Chowk, where he was warmly welcomed. He visited citizens across sectors 11, 9, 6, 4, 3, 7, 2, and 1, and received traditional greetings from women, as well as enthusiastic support from youth, elders, and other community members. The procession included numerous Mahayuti alliance leaders and community representatives.

The issue of making authority properties freehold had been pending for years, with no political leader taking initiative. MLA Mahesh Landge took up this cause, persistently pursuing it and raising it forcefully in the legislative assembly. His advocacy led the government to pass a resolution granting freehold rights to these properties, providing significant relief to local residents.
