Iranian activist Narges Mohammadi wins 2023 Nobel Peace Prize

Tehran, Oct 6 : The 2023 Nobel Peace Prize has been awarded to Iranian activist and vice-president of a human rights organization in Iran Narges Mohammadi, the Nobel Committee said on Friday.

“The Norwegian Nobel Committee has decided to award the 2023 #NobelPeacePrize to Narges Mohammadi for her fight against the oppression of women in Iran and her fight to promote human rights and freedom for all,” the committee wrote on X, formerly known as Twitter.
