Pune: In a proud moment for the entire country, the Indian Space Research Organization (ISRO) has successfully launched Chandrayaan 3 spacecraft at 2:35 pm from Satish Dhawan Space Centre in Sriharikota, Andhra Pradesh.

As per information, after it successfully lands on the moon, India will join the elite club of nations that have achieved this rare feat. the previous nations that have successfully landed on the moon include the United States of America, the former Soviet Union, and most recently China.

The rocket has effectively taken off from Earth and is currently in circles all over the world in its excursion towards the Moon. It has numerous basic occasions arranged, including earth-bound moves, inclusion into the lunar circle, partition of the lander, a bunch of deboost moves and a power plunge stage for a delicate landing.

As per information from the official website of ISRO, Chandrayaan-3 is a follow-on mission to Chandrayaan-2 to exhibit start-to-finish capacity in safe landing and meandering on the lunar surface. Chandrayaan-3 consists of an indigenous propulsion module, a lander module, and a rover to develop and demonstrate new technologies required for interplanetary missions. The propulsion module will carry the lander and rover from injection orbit to 100 km lunar orbit. It also carries a Spectro-polarimetry of Habitable Planetary Earth (SHAPE) payload to study the spectral and polarimetric measurements of Earth from the Lunar orbit.

The mission goals of Chandrayaan-3 are to carry out in-situ scientific experiments, to demonstrate Rover roving on the moon as well as to demonstrate a safe and soft landing on the lunar surface.

Various notable persons like Prime Minister Narendra Modi, and President Droupadi Murmu have congratulated ISRO for this remarkable achievement.
