Jay Pawar Demands Action Against VSR Owner After Viral In-Flight Video; Raises Fresh Questions Over Ajit Pawar Plane Crash Probe

More than a month after the tragic death of former Deputy Chief Minister Ajit Pawar, unanswered questions continue to surround the circumstances of the aircraft crash that claimed his life. While an official inquiry report recently stated that the aircraft crashed after hitting a tree, the findings have drawn criticism for being superficial, with allegations that the causes of the accident were inadequately explained.
Amid these developments, Ajit Pawar’s son Jay Pawar has brought fresh controversy to the forefront by exposing alleged negligence by VSR Aviation. Jay Pawar shared a video on his Instagram account showing VSR owner Rohit Singh allegedly asleep in the pilot’s seat while the aircraft was in mid-air.
Sharing the video, Jay Pawar described the act as “extremely serious and shocking,” stating that such negligence in the air is unacceptable and puts passengers’ lives at risk.
In his post, Jay Pawar wrote:
“I have lost my father, and this pain will stay with me forever. In this video, VSR owner Rohit Singh is seen sleeping on the main pilot’s seat during a flight. Such irresponsibility while in the sky cannot be tolerated. This is extremely serious and disturbing.”
He further urged the Directorate General of Civil Aviation (DGCA) to take immediate and strict action, demanding that all VSR aircraft be grounded until a full investigation is completed. Jay Pawar also called for the immediate arrest of Rohit Singh and strict legal action in the interest of passenger safety.
The video has since gone viral on social media, triggering widespread outrage and raising serious questions about VSR’s operations and safety standards. Political leader Rohit Pawar had earlier made serious allegations against Rohit Singh and VSR, claiming repeated violations of aviation rules and safety norms.
Attempts to contact VSR Aviation and Rohit Singh for their response were unsuccessful at the time of publishing.
