LPG Cylinder Prices Hiked Across India from August 1; Commercial Rates Up by Rs 6.5, Domestic Prices Unchanged
The price hike, effective from August 1, affects commercial LPG cylinders, with an increment of Rs 6.5 for a 19kg cylinder. City-wise Revised Rates for Commercial LPG Cylinders:
Delhi: Increased from Rs 1646 to Rs 1652.50
Kolkata: Increased from Rs 1756 to Rs 1764.50
Mumbai: Increased from Rs 1598 to Rs 1605
Chennai: Increased from Rs 1809.50 to Rs 1817
Domestic LPG Cylinder Prices:
The prices for domestic LPG cylinders remain unchanged:
Delhi: Rs 803 for a 14.2 kg cylinder
Kolkata: Rs 829 for a 14.2 kg cylinder
Mumbai: Rs 802.50 for a 14.2 kg cylinder
Chennai: Rs 818.50 for a 14.2 kg cylinder
Additionally, oil companies have also increased the price of aviation fuel by Rs 3006.71 per kilogram liter, effective from Thursday.
