The Maharashtra government has unveiled the much-anticipated list of guardian ministers for all 36 districts in the state. Deputy Chief Minister Ajit Pawar has been entrusted with the responsibility of Pune and Beed districts. Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis has taken charge as the Guardian Minister for Gadchiroli, while Deputy CM Eknath Shinde will oversee Thane and Mumbai City.

In a notable move, NCP’s Dhananjay Munde, recently in the spotlight due to the Beed sarpanch murder case, has been excluded from the list. State Ministers Ashish Shelar and Mangal Prabhat Lodha have been appointed as co-guardians for the Mumbai suburbs.
