In Maharashtra’s Jalgaon district, a pregnant woman and her family narrowly avoided a severe accident on Wednesday when the ambulance they were in caught fire, leading to a powerful oxygen cylinder explosion. The incident, which took place on a national highway near Dadawadi, reportedly shattered windows in nearby houses, though no one was injured.
The ambulance was transporting the woman from Erandol government hospital to Jalgaon district hospital when the driver noticed smoke coming from the engine. Acting quickly, he stopped the vehicle, evacuated everyone, and alerted bystanders to stay back. Shortly after, the fire spread, causing an explosion in the oxygen tank, with the blast’s impact captured in a video that has since gone viral online.
