Strategically located beside one of Mumbai’s most revered spiritual landmarks—Shri Siddhivinayak Mandir, a prominent temple dedicated to Lord Ganesha—the station blends faith with functionality. MMRCL shared the visuals on X (formerly Twitter) with a heartfelt caption:

Mumbai Metro Line 3 – Aqua Line Overview
Mumbai Metro Line 3 is the city’s first fully underground metro line, set to transform commuting across some of the busiest corridors. The route spans crucial nodes in the city and is being rolled out in phases.
Phase 1 Route and Stations:
The first phase connects BKC (Bandra-Kurla Complex) to Aarey Colony JVLR, covering 10 stations:

Key Features of the Aqua Line:
- Underground Infrastructure: 9 out of 10 stations in this phase are underground, making it Mumbai’s first such metro corridor.
- Surface Station: The only station at ground level is Aarey Colony.
