In a shocking incident, a fraud scheme involving a scammer from Nashik, who claimed he could secure the governor’s position in any state, has been uncovered.
According to police reports, Niranjan Kulkarni is the name of this fraudster. He deceived the scientist Narasimha Reddy from Tamil Nadu out of a total of 5 crores. Following Reddy’s complaint at the Mumbai Naka police station in Nashik, a case was filed, leading to Kulkarni’s arrest by the Nashik police in Nagpur.
Claiming to have connections with political figures, the suspect Kulkarni met the complainant Reddy at an event in Delhi. They had been in contact for about a year. However, in recent months, as there had been no updates regarding the governor’s position from Kulkarni and he was not returning the money Reddy had given him, Reddy decided to seek assistance from the Nashik police.
Niranjan Kulkarni, the suspect, is affiliated with a global social organization based in Nagpur, from which he used 2.4 crores of the 5 crores received to buy 16 acres of land. He also invested 2 crores in a fixed deposit under his father’s name and kept 60,000 rupees in cash. Kulkarni aspired to maintain a high-profile lifestyle, even driving a car adorned with the logo of a Member of Parliament.
To create the illusion of having ties with many influential leaders, the police investigation has revealed that he manipulated photographs. It has also been discovered that he was involved in social work in both Nagpur and Delhi.
Reddy’s relative is a former Member of Parliament, and according to the police, Kulkarni received this money to help him become the governor. The Nashik police have several teams searching for other accomplices related to this case along with the suspect, Kulkarni. As the investigation continues, the complexity of this case is increasing, and everyone is paying attention to the direction it is taking.
