Nationwide Bomb Blast Warning, Death Threat to PM Modi; E-Mail to Dinanath Mangeshkar Hospital
Bomb Threats Target Two Delhi Hospitals and IGI Airport; Search Operations Initiated

Pune: Just ahead of the Independence Day celebrations, the Dinanath Mangeshkar Hospital in Pune has received an e-mail threatening multiple bomb blasts in various places in India. In addition, the e-mail also mentioned killing Prime Minister Narendra Modi.
It is worthy to note that, the Mumbai Police on the morning of August 6 also received a call from a person warning of ‘serial bomb blasts’ in local trains, an official said. Recently, terrorists were arrested by Pune Police also. Several incidents in the past has raised serious concerns.
Speaking to Pune Pulse, Rajesh Tatakare, Police Inspector, at Alankar Police Station said, ” The person who handles the social media and e-mail account of Dinanath Mangeshkar Hospital saw the mail. He immediately informed the police control room. The mail threatened to kill Prime Minister Narendra Modi, destroy the Hindu religion and women, and also carry out serious bomb blasts. As soon as we received the information, we immediately went to the hospital to carry out an investigation.”
As per the information, the email was sent on August 6 by a person called M A Mokheem. A case has been registered under Sections 505 (2) & 506 (2) of the Indian Penal Code (IPC) & further investigation is going on.
