NEET-UG 2025 Results: Maharashtra Shines with AIR 3 from Pune, Top Girl from Baramati, AIR 10 from Mumbai
Pune, June 15
Maharashtra has made a strong mark in the NEET-UG 2025 results, with three students securing top national ranks. Krishang Joshi from Pune bagged All India Rank (AIR) 3, Aarav Agrawal from Mumbai achieved AIR 10, and Baramati’s Siddhi Badhe emerged as the state’s top-ranking female candidate with AIR 26.
Meet the Toppers from Maharashtra
Krishang Joshi (AIR 3), Pune
Scoring 681 out of 720, Krishang’s journey spanned several cities due to his father’s transferable job with the port authority. He began his NEET preparation at Aakash Institute in Goa and later joined the toppers’ residential batch in Pune. Accompanied by his mother during the intense study phase, Krishang followed a rigorous 14–16 hour study schedule daily, balancing mock tests, revisions, and concept-building. He now sets his sights on joining AIIMS Delhi.
Aarav Agrawal (AIR 10), Mumbai
Aarav, who scored 675, hails from Anushakti Nagar. His father works at BARC, and his mother is employed in the private sector. Aarav adopted a flexible study routine, dividing time between coaching and self-study. He practiced extensively with past year papers and relied on regular short breaks to stay consistent. Like Krishang, Aarav also aims for AIIMS Delhi.
Siddhi Badhe (AIR 26), Baramati
With a score of 665, Siddhi is Maharashtra’s highest-ranking female candidate. A student of Success Academy, she is the daughter of two government school teachers. Her disciplined two-year preparation strategy focused on daily revision, regular tests, and early identification of weak topics. Siddhi too hopes to begin her MBBS journey at AIIMS Delhi.
Statewide NEET Performance
This year, Maharashtra saw a total of 2,48,201 registrations for NEET-UG 2025. Out of these, 2,42,858 appeared for the exam and 1,25,727 students qualified for medical admissions.
Despite differing study styles, all three toppers from the state shared a common ambition: to earn a seat at India’s premier medical institute—AIIMS Delhi.
