Night curfew to be imposed in Maharashtra from March 28

In view of spike in Covid19 cases across the state, Chief Minister Uddhav Thackeray on March 26, 2021 announced that restrictions shall be imposed from March 28, 2021 night till further notice.

Covid19 cases have gone up drastically in several cities in Maharashtra since last week of February 2021.

Night curfew shall be imposed across the state of Maharashtra. The state government has taken this step in order to restrict movements further bringing down the cases of Covid19.

Shopping malls will be closed from 8 pm to 7 am, the order said.

Today, on March 26, 2021, newly 36,902 patients have been tested as positive in the state. Also newly 17,019 patients have been cured today. Totally 23,00,056 patients are cured & discharged from the hospitals. Total Active patients are 2,82,451. The patient recovery rate in the state is 88.2%.
