In an effort to reduce nighttime crime and manage antisocial activities, the Pimpri Chinchwad Police has introduced an initiative known as ‘Area Domination.’ This program aims to address the nuisance caused by individuals who loiter on the streets late at night.

As part of the initiative, Control Room Mobile Vans, accompanied by multiple police officers on bikes, patrol the city, focusing on sensitive areas. The increased police presence and night patrolling are designed to deter antisocial elements and maintain public order during nighttime hours.

The PCMC Police will monitor individuals who wander the streets without purpose and engage in mischief. This initiative aims to ensure that those causing disturbances are identified and checked by law enforcement.

Despite the initiative’s positive intent, many citizens have expressed their desire for such measures to be permanent rather than occasional. Social media platforms have seen numerous calls for the ‘Area Domination’ initiative to become a regular activity to ensure continuous safety and order in the community.
