PMC takes action against illegal construction on Nagar road

Pune: In a recent development, the Pune Municipal Corporation (PMC) has taken decisive action against unauthorized constructions and encroachments on Nagar Road.

According to the received information, this morning, establishments such as Reddy’s Family Resto and Bar, Al Nayaab, and those in close proximity to the bus stand were demolished. Moreover, priority has been to the roads connecting airports and railway stations, ensuring that the footpaths remain free from encroachments.

The PMC has identified 15 major roads as VIP roads, which will undergo regular maintenance. Additionally, the roads’ aesthetics will be enhanced by the installation of dividers, and the walls along the roads will be renovated. The dividers will also undergo repainting, and certain intersections will be reconstructed.
