PMPML generates nearly Rs 7 Lakh revenue through UPI payments in 10 days
PMPML launches cashless facility for bus passes at pass centers

Pune: The Pune Mahanagar Parivahan Mahamandal Ltd (PMPML) has generated a revenue of approximately Rs 7 Lakh by UPI payments for bus tickets in just 10 days i.e. from October 1 to October 10, 2023.
As per further information shared by Satish Gate, PRO, PMPML, following is the entire data of the UPI bus ticket transactions in PMPML buses from October 1 to October 10:

It is worthy to note that the ‘UPI’ ticketing system was recently launched by the PMPML administration. In just 10 days since its launch, a revenue of Rs 6,86,235 has been generated and 31,943 passengers have used this online facility by buying tickets through UPI’s ‘QR code’.

PMPML is making changes in their services to increase customer convenience. The UPI system was started for the convenience of the passengers. Earlier, there was only a paper ticket system. Later, a system to issue tickets through machines was created. However, now the UPI system has been introduced for the convenience of the passengers.
