Pune : 2 seriously injured due to reckless driving by minor on Atal Bihari Vajpayee flyover near 7 Loves chowk
A 17-year-old minor was driving a luxury car at a high speed on January 30 at around 3:15 PM, which led to an accident on the Atal Bihari Vajpayee Flyover near 7 Loves chowk near Timber market. The minor lost control of the car, colliding with a motorcycle that was carrying two people and seriously hurting them.
The accused is being charged with carelessness and negligence; the case has been reported to the Khadak Police Station.
The complainant has given information about the incident. The victims were struck by the speeding four-wheeler driven by the minor as they were traveling on a motorcycle from Swargate to the Camp area via the Atal Bihari Vajpayee Flyover. The accident resulted in serious injuries for both parties.
The complainant argues that the accused father showed negligence and carelessness by allowing his son to drive the luxury car, even though he was aware of his son’s minor status. The minor collided with the motorcycle after losing control of the car.
Further investigation in the case is being carried out.
