PUNE: In accordance with the existence of a dispute resolution committee at the village level to address societal disputes, a decision has been made by the government court to establish a dispute resolution committee in the housing society.

This was conveyed by District Deputy Registrar Sanjay Raut  during his guidance to the society’s office-bearers. 

The workshop on deemed conveyance and re-development was organized by Yogesh Sasane, President of Sawali Foundation, in collaboration with the Maharashtra Government Cooperation Department, Sawali Foundation, and Saptasiddhi Associates.

The event was attended by Rural District Deputy Registrar Prakash Jagtap, Pune City District Deputy Registrar Sanjay Raut, Architect Atit Admulwar, Legal Expert Anil Tambe, Sanjay Sasane, Vaibhav Mane, Organizer Prathamesh Sasane, and other participants. Representatives from 208 societies in the Hadapsar area were also present.

Members of The Fosch Co-operative Society, including Vardhaman Township, Nirmal Township, and Ganga Village, raised questions regarding the convent deed and re-development. Sanjay Raut, the city district deputy registrar, advised the society’s office-bearers to contact the cooperative department to obtain the conveyance deed.

He also mentioned that an old and dilapidated society can opt for redevelopment if the documents are in order. He expressed his gratitude and satisfaction with the organizers for providing answers to the queries of several society officials.
