Pune : 29 unauthorised buildings on hill top demolished in Bibwewadi 

On Wednesday, 7 February, 2024, the Building Department of the Municipal Corporation took action on the unauthorised buildings at Hill Top Slope area in Bibwewadi,  Pune. 

The buildings were demolished with one Jaw cutter, four JCB’s, four gas cutters, one municipal personnel and two Police groups. This was done within the limits of Bibwewadi Police Station on the east side of Aai Mata Mandir to Shatrunjaya Mandir road. A total of 29 unauthorised buildings were demolished.

The administration had sent notice repeatedly to the businessmen who had unauthorised construction of godowns, shops, showrooms, etc in Bibwewadi illegally. 

This action was taken under the guidance of City Engineer Prashant Waghmare, Chief Engineer Yuvraj Deshmukh, Executive Engineer Prakash Pawar, Deputy Engineer Shailendra Kathawate, Branch Engineer Umesh Sidruk, Vandana Gawari Junior Engineer, Piyush Dighe, Tulip Engineer Prathamesh Deshpande, Parikshit Dongre. 

There are plenty of unauthorised constructions in the hill top area of Bibwewadi against which action has been initiated.
