Pune: Ban Imposed On Private Aerial Activities On September 3 Ahead Of Presidential Visit
Pune, August 28: In preparation for President Droupadi Murmu’s scheduled visit to Pune, authorities have issued a ban on all private aerial activities in the Pune and Pimpri-Chinchwad cities, as well as the Pune rural district. This measure is being implemented to ensure the safety of high-profile individuals and to maintain law and order.
From 12:10 AM to 12:00 AM on September 3, the use of paragliders, hot air balloons, drones, microlight airplanes, and other private aerial vehicles will be prohibited. The directive has been issued by Pune District Collector Dr. Suhas Diwase to prevent any potential security threats and disruptions.
The order emphasizes that any violations will be subject to legal action under Section 223 of the Indian Penal Code, 2023. The district administration is ensuring strict enforcement of this ban to guarantee a secure environment during the presidential visit.
