The Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP)’s Youth Wing ‘Bharatiya Janata Party Yuva Morcha’ has requested the Pune Police Commissioner to take action against a company ‘My College Khoj’ in Viman Nagar for allegedly looting students & committing fraud by assuring students of education opportunities in other countries.

As per information shared by Bharatiya Janata Party Yuva Morcha,

My College Khoj used to lure students to study abroad and has extorted from them lakhs of rupees in the form of application fees Rs 50,000, scholarship fee Rs 50,000, Visa Application Rs 50,000, Completion of Incomplete Documents Rs 50,000, Health Insurance Rs 6,500 etc.

Also, the company issued fake offer letters to students, made fake PAN cards, fake Aadhaar cards, fake stamps & signatures of banks on them and more.

When the students realized this, several of them contacted the state general secretary of the BJP Yuva Morcha, Sushil Mengde, who informed the members of the BJP Yuva Morcha Pune Omkar Kedari and Dushyant Mohol and asked students to approach them.

Under the chairmanship of BJP Pune President Dhiraj Ghate, BJP Yuva Morcha Pradesh General Secretary Sushil Mengde, BJP Yuva Morcha Pune City President Karan Misal, a statement was given to Pune Police Commissioner and a complaint form was also given on behalf of all the students.

Taking cognizance of the complaint of BJP Yuva Morcha, on February 2, 2024, the office of My College Khoj at Viman Nagar was raided by the officers of the Economic Offences Wing (EOW) of the Pune Police and seized fake stamps and documents.
