Pune – On September 3, 2024, at around 1:30 PM, a fire broke out on an electric bike at Padmavati Chowk due to a sudden battery malfunction. The incident caused panic on the street.
Fireman Mandar Santosh Nalawade, who was on his way to report for duty at Gangadham Fire Station, immediately sprang into action. Without any delay, he rushed to a nearby Iranian hotel, grabbed a fire extinguisher, and swiftly brought the fire under control, averting potential danger.
