Pune News: 23 Year Old Booked For Filming Woman In Bathroom, Case Registered In KondhwaÂ
September 3, 2024: A case has been registered by the Kondhwa Police for allegedly filming a 26-year-old woman while she was bathing. The incident occurred on September 1, and the same day, the complaint was lodged, leading to an official investigation.
A 23-year-old resident of Pisoli, is accused of violating the woman’s privacy by recording her from the bathroom window. The police have invoked Section 77 of the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita (BNS), which penalizes individuals for observing or capturing images of someone engaged in a private act without their consent.
Further investigation in the case is being carried out.
