Pune: Grand Shiv Jayanti Celebrated With Great Enthusiasm And Social Commitment At Mélange Residences At Hinjawadi
Pune: Residents of Mélange Residences in Hinjawadi Phase-3 celebrated the birth anniversary of Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj with great enthusiasm, pride, and a strong sense of community spirit. The celebration witnessed active participation from residents of all age groups and was marked by cultural activities and a meaningful social initiative.
The event began with a drawing competition for children, who showcased their creativity by illustrating significant moments from Shivaji Maharaj’s life, including his historic battles, visionary leadership, and remarkable courage. The competition not only encouraged artistic expression but also helped the younger generation connect with the legacy of the revered Maratha warrior.
The highlight of the celebration was an energetic Dhol Tasha procession. Residents and children marched together around the society premises as the powerful beats of traditional drums echoed through the campus. The vibrant procession created a patriotic atmosphere, symbolizing unity and pride among the community members.
Adding a social dimension to the festivities, residents extended support to Akhil Bharatiya Vanvasi Kalyan Ashram by donating essential grocery items. Children from the Ashram were invited to participate in the celebration, making the occasion more inclusive and meaningful.
The event was graced by the presence of Ashram representatives, including Sureshji Gurav (Adhyaksha), Rishabh Mutha (Chhatrawas Pramukh), Yashwant Bhong (Sachiv), and Vidula Pendse (Sah-Sachiv), whose participation added significance to the occasion.

The celebration was meticulously organized by the Shivjayanti Utsav Melange Volunteer Team, with support from members of the Chaitanya and Adishakti Group. Their coordinated efforts ensured a seamless and memorable event for all attendees.
The grand celebration concluded with residents expressing gratitude to all participants and volunteers for making the tribute a success, echoing the spirit of “Har Har Mahadev” and “Jai Bhavani, Jai Shivaji.”
