Pune: The temperature in the city is currently rising and the intensity of the heat has increased, being even more noticeable during the night.

According to the Indian Meteorological Department (IMD), the sky will remain clear and the temperature will continue to rise over the next two to three days. In the morning, there is a slight coolness in the air, but as the afternoon approaches, the residents of Pune have to face heat. Since the monsoon season has concluded in the region, the weather has become hot and dry throughout.

Currently, there is a presence of cyclonic wind conditions over the Himalayan areas of Telangana and south interior Karnataka and West Bengal. Additionally, a cyclonic wind is blowing over the East Central Bay of Bengal at an altitude of 5.8 km above sea level, and a low-pressure area is active from south interior Karnataka to Comorin.

As per the information received, heat in the state has begun to intensify during the month of October. Partly cloudy weather can be observed in various locations. The temperature has exceeded 35 degrees in many parts of the state. IMD has also shared weather updates for the upcoming Navratri season.

Speaking to Pune Pulse, Anupam Kashyapi added, ”Pune will observe weather conditions like clear skies to partly cloudy skies during Navratri festival.”
