Pune: Investigation demanded in woman’s death due to electrocution at Amar Tech Park in Balewadi

Balewadi: A woman died instantly after being electrocuted in front of Amar Tech Park in Balewadi. This tragic incident is attributed to administrative negligence. However, no authority has taken responsibility for the accident.

Due to the errors of various administrative bodies, including the Pune Municipal Corporation’s Electricity Department, Smart City project, MahaMetro, and Mahavitaran, the woman lost her life.

Preliminary reports suggest that the metro authorities removed a Smart City electrical pole at the site without notifying anyone. The power cable supplying electricity to this pole was not disconnected, leading to the fatal accident.

Rishikesh Kanvate, in an email, has requested that responsibility be determined, a criminal case be filed, and compensation be provided to the woman’s family.
