Pune : Maharashtra Deputy CM Ajit Pawar Urges Stronger Support for Mahayuti Candidate in Maval Lok Sabha Constituency

During a coordination meeting of Mahayuti allies for the Maval Lok Sabha Constituency, Maharashtra Deputy Chief Minister Ajit Pawar stressed the need for increased support for the Mahayuti candidate compared to the previous elections.

Pawar urged NCP workers to maintain distance from the opposition candidate Sanjog Waghere once the election campaign begins, emphasizing the importance of adhering to certain protocols until polling day on May 13.

Present at the meeting were Relief and Rehabilitation Minister Anil Patil, Industries Minister Uday Samant, Mahayuti candidate MP Shrirang Barne, MLA Ashwini Jagtap, Sunil Shelke, Uma Khapare, and Chandrakanta Sonkamble from the Athavale group.

During a recent political event, Pawar emphasized the importance of focusing on developmental politics in today’s rapidly evolving times. He also praised Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s commitment to the country’s safety and economic growth. Pawar challenged opposition promises and stressed the significance of this election in shaping the future of the youth, calling for prioritizing development over rhetoric.

During the event, RPI office-bearers expressed concerns about being excluded from the platform. In response, Minister Samant intervened and arranged a meeting between the office-bearers and candidate Srirang Barane to resolve the issue.

Maval, a crucial Lok Sabha constituency in Maharashtra, has historically been a stronghold of the Shiv Sena. This year, it will witness a direct contest between sitting MP Shrirang Barne of Shinde-led Shiv Sena and Sanjog Waghere Patil of Shiv Sena (UBT). With diverse political dynamics at play, representatives from key constituencies wield significant influence in shaping the political landscape.
