Pune: Man Kills Woman Over Unrequited Love and New Marriage
In the Vishrantwadi area on Tuesday, a heart-wrenching incident occurred when a spurned lover took the life of a woman after she married someone else. The suspect, 25-year-old Amol Dilip Kamble from Dhanori, originally from Beed district, fatally attacked 25-year-old Gauri Aare, who lived in the Kalas Malwadi area.
Gauri was walking home with a friend when Amol confronted her near Trinity School and assaulted her with a sickle. She suffered serious injuries and sadly passed away while receiving treatment at a private hospital on Wednesday.
Kanchan Jadhav, a senior police inspector at the Vishrantwadi police station, revealed that both Amol and Gauri were schoolmates from Pimplaner in Beed district. Gauri had married Lanesh Aare three years ago and had recently moved to Pune. Jadhav mentioned that Amol had been stalking Gauri before the attack. He has since been arrested, and a case has been filed against him at the Vishrantwadi police station under applicable laws.
