Pune Municipal Corporation repairs 848 potholes in three days

Pune: In the last three days, Pune Municipal Corporation has repaired 848 potholes in Pune city which also includes 23 merged villages.
The road department of PMC has used chemical-added concrete, cold emulsion and cold tar mix to fix the potholes. Jet patchers were also used for the repair work.

According to a release by the road department PMC, 90% of the work with regards to potholes is completed.
Residents from various areas are complaining against PMC as many potholes have developed after the continuous rains for 11 days.
“Work is going on day and night. We will continue to keep doing repair work wherever there is a requirement,” stated the release.
A total of 1260 bags of cold mix, 50 emulsion drums and 50-tonnes filling material were used by the PMC rad department to repair the roads.
