Pune: Nal Stop Metro Station Overcomes Parking Woes with Barricade Solution
Metro commuters at Nal Stop Metro station in Pune are satisfied as barricades have been installed till the entranceway of the metro station, preventing vehicles from blocking the metro station entranceway.
Speaking to Pune Pulse, a Nal Stop Metro station commuter said, “Earlier, there were so many vehicles parked just in the entranceway of the Nal Stop station that it was getting difficult to enter the Metro station smoothly. Now, as there are barricades installed, I can enter the station quickly & without any hassle. Hence, I have started to use the metro as a preferred commuting option again to go to my office every day.”
Another Nal Stop metro commuter said, “Barricades have reduced the illegal parking of vehicles at the entranceway to a great extent. Now, I can easily enter the Nal Stop metro station with a sigh of relief.”
Regarding preventing vehicular parking at the entranceway, Maha Metro officials promised to chalk out effective solutions with traffic police. A Maha Metro official said that they will work with the traffic police to regulate traffic and commuter movement at Metro stations.
