Pune News: Multiple Bike And Sandalwood Tree Thefts In Mukund Nagar’s TMV Colony Worries Residents
In Mukund Nagar’s TMV Colony, located near Swargate, a string of thefts over the past 20 days has left residents feeling anxious and unsafe. During September, two vehicles were stolen, and two sandalwood trees were also taken from the area.
Despite residents promptly reporting the incidents to the local police, no arrests have been made, and the thieves remain at large. The repeated thefts have raised concerns about the safety and security of the neighborhood, with locals fearing that the situation could worsen if immediate action isn’t taken. The residents complained that the thieves are armed with weapons and guns and have on two occasions threatened the residents who tried to raise alarm against the thieves.

A case has been registered in Swargate police station, a resident informed who lost his bike in a theft incident held last week.
