Pune News : PCMC Urges Citizens to Take Proper Precautions Against Conjunctivitis
The Pimpri Chinchwad Municipal Corporation (PCMC) has urged the citizens to take required precautions against the Conjunctivitis disease as there is a rise in cases.
As per information from the official Twitter handle of PCMC, if the eyes are safe, then only the beauty of creation can be witnessed !
Some of the precautions to be taken against conjunctivitis :
• Handkerchief, tissue, soap, towel, pillow used by the affected persons should not be used by others.
• If an eye infection lasts for four to five days, then it gets recovered. So, people should not panic.
• Affected persons should use goggles while going out of the house or going to his/her work place.
• As soon as infection is noticed, one should immediately take advice from an ophthalmologist.
In Pune & surrounding areas, the number of eye diseases such as conjunctivitis etc is increasing. Hence, the PCMC has appealed that citizens should take appropriate precautions and contact a doctor immediately if the symptoms occur.
