Pune News : Pune Traffic Police announces alternate routes for smooth traffic flow in Yerwada

Pune: The Pune traffic police have announced some alternate routes to make the traffic flow in the Yerwada area more smooth and hassle-free.
As per information, the following temporary changes are announced on the following roads in Yerawada Traffic Division:
Under Yerawada Transport Division Pune, traffic of heavy vehicles going to Badami Chowk, Old Airport Road from Sahyadri Hospital Lane in Shastri Nagar Chowk and going to Nagar Road from Badami Chowk on Airport Road via Sahyadri Hospital Lane is banned.
These are the alternative routes:
1) From Shastri Nagar Chowk straight to Golf Chowk, turn right on Airport Road to Badami Chowk to desired destination
2) From Badami Chowk straight to Golf Club Chowk, turn left to Shastri Nagar Chowk to desired destination
However, if citizens have any suggestions in this regard, they should inform in writing to the office of the Deputy Commissioner of Police, Traffic Control Branch, Yerwada Post Office, Bungalow No. 6 Jail Road Pune 41006 from July 10 to July 25, 2023. Final orders will be taken after considering the suggestions and objections of citizens and excluding essential service vehicles (e.g. fire brigade, police vehicles, ambulances etc).
