Pune, July 20, 2025:  The Pune Municipal Corporation (PMC) has announced a planned water supply disruption in several areas on Sunday, July 20, 2025, due to urgent repair work on a major pipeline.

According to an official release from the PMC Water Supply Department, a leakage was detected in the Parvati Water Treatment Plant to SNDT (MLR) pipeline. To carry out the necessary repairs, water supply from SNDT (MLR), SNDT (HLR), and Chatushrungi water tanks will be affected on Sunday.

SNDT (HLR): Gokhale Nagar, Shivajinagar, Model Colony, Revenue Colony, entire Kothrud, Wadarvasti, State Bank Colony, Shramik Vasahat, Happy Colony, Meghdoot, Tejas Nagar, Dahanukar Colony, Sutar Dara, Kishkindha Nagar, Jaybhavani Nagar, Rambagh Colony, Hanuman Nagar, Kelewadi, Gujarat Colony, Gadhave Colony, Dnyaneshwar Colony, Ideal Colony, Wadarwadi, Senapati Bapat Road, Janwadi, Vaidu Wadi, Police Line, Sangamwadi, and surrounding areas.

SNDT (MLR): Law College Road, Paud Road, Sheela Vihar Colony, Advait Society, Bhimnagar, Vedant Nagari, Kulshree Colony, Sahawas, Kshipra, Manmohan Society, Vitthal Mandir area, Gosavi Vasti, Karishma Society, Bandhan Society area, Mayur Colony, Karve Road (from Jhala Society to Chhatrapati Shivaji Statue), Erandwane area, Dashabhuja Ganpati to Nal Stop, Sahakar Vasahat up to Mhatre Bridge, H.A. Colony, Bharat Kunj, Swapnamandir area, Patwardhan Baug, Karishma Society to Warje Ward Office, and Garija Shankar Society area.

Chatushrungi Tank: Aundh, Bopodi, Bhoite Vasti, Pune University area, Chikhal Wadi, Khadki, Anand Park, Sanevadi, Dr. Ambedkar Vasahat, Sankalp Park, Sakal Nagar, Chavannagar, Abhimanshree Society, National Society, Sindh Society, and Aundh village.

PMC has appealed to residents in the affected areas to store sufficient water in advance and use water judiciously during this period. The civic body assured that efforts are underway to complete the repair work at the earliest to restore water supply.
