Pune : PMC seizes 2 commercial properties in R Deccan Mall on Jangli Maharaj Road over unpaid property tax of Rs 3 crores

The Pune Municipal Corporation (PMC) has taken decisive action against SNS Commercial Premises Pvt Ltd and M/s. Rit Choice T Company Pvt Ltd for their failure to pay outstanding property taxes, leading to the sealing of the property located in Pune’s R-Deccan Mall on Jangli Maharaj Road.

With arrears totaling approximately three and a half crores left unpaid by both the firms, the PMC had previously issued notices urging payment. However, despite repeated warnings, the arrears remained unsettled, prompting the Municipal Corporation to enforce measures by sealing sections of the firms’ property.

This action is part of the PMC’s ongoing efforts to recover overdue property taxes across the city. Over the past two years, notices have been regularly issued to the firms, yet each notice went unanswered, exacerbating the situation further.
