Pune: PMPML’s driver in Nigdi depot brings record daily earnings
Pune Mahanagar Parivahan Mandal Limited‘s driver Sukhdev Jadhav from Nigdi depot brought record earnings in just one shift on January 22, 2023. He brought an income of Rs 19,868 in just one work shift between Nigdi and Lonavla. His outstanding feat earned him appreciation from Om Bakoria, director, PMPML and joint director Pradnya Potdar.
Sukhdev has been working with PMPML since 2009. Even on January 1, Sukhdev brought in a record income of Rs 19,171. On January 22, between Nigdi and Lonavla, a total of 12 buses completed their shifts, out of which 7 buses were as per the schedule while 5 buses were deployed on extra duty. Out of these 12 buses, Sukhdev was deployed in 1 bus. In his shift, he completed two rounds on the route. Since it was a busy day on the route, he could bring extra income to the PMPML, he said.
Satish Gavhane, chief transport manager, operations, PMPML said, “It is the highest income ever in one shift. Sukhdev Kamble has done an outstanding job. We are working towards making maximum profits and if drivers cooperate we can achieve it soon.”
