Pune railway authorities take action against unauthorised vendors to ensure safety of passengers
The authorities at the Pune railway station undertook a drive against the unauthorised vendors causing nuisance to the passengers. The action carried out under the guidance of DRM Pune Indu Dubey, additional DRM Brijesh Kumar Singh and senior commercial controller manager Dr Milind Hirve and Ajay Kumar,  Assistant Commercial Manager held a drive of ticket checking, food inspector and railway security forces held action against 14 unauthorised vendors on May 9.Â
Over 60 unauthorised water bottles were seized which were selling water and food items on the railway platform and in trains illegally. These vendors were found selling bhel, guava, fruits, water bottles and other food items.
The railway authorities have urged to buy products from railway authorised vendors only.
