Pune RTO Urges Vehicle Inspections for Ganesh Festival Processions

Pune, September 4: The Pune Regional Transport Office (RTO) has announced that all vehicles participating in the Ganesh festival processions must undergo a pre-inspection at the test track on Alandi Road by September 13. Vehicle owners are urged to have their vehicles technically inspected and certified.

This inspection drive aims to prevent accidents caused by technical faults in vehicles and to avoid traffic disruptions due to vehicle breakdowns during the processions. The RTO has requested that during the inspection, vehicle owners bring essential documents, including the registration certificate, tax certificate, insurance certificate, fitness certificate, pollution control certificate, driver’s license, and a valid transport permit.
