Pune, India: In a remarkable display of cultural diversity and national unity, the Spread Happiness Foundation from Odisha participated in a grand event organized by Bharat Bharati Pune. 

This event, a first of its kind in India, was held to celebrate ‘Bharat ki Amrut kal and commemorate the 350th year of Rajyabhishek of the great Hindu emperor Shivaji Maharaj and the Pran Pratishtha of the Lord Ram Mandir.

Thoudands of  people from various parts of India, stretching from Kanyakumari to Kashmir, and including Nepal, thronged the streets of Pune to partake in this vibrant celebration. The highlight of the event was a spectacular ‘Shobhayatra’, a procession where each participating state showcased its unique cultural heritage through beautifully designed tableaux.

The Spread Happiness Foundation, known for its commendable social service initiatives, took this opportunity to promote the rich culture and traditions of Odisha. The foundation’s representation was particularly noteworthy for highlighting the Lord Jagannath tradition, a symbol of Odisha’s spiritual and cultural essence.

Esteemed personalities from Pune graced the event and commended the Spread Happiness Foundation for its significant contributions to social change. The foundation’s participation in the Shobhayatra was meticulously organized by Anand Mahapatra, the General Secretary, along with the Founder Chairman, Soumya Ranjan Mahapatro.

Key members from Odisha, including Abhinas Swain, Vijay Rout, and Ramachandra Lenka, joined the procession, adding to the fervor and enthusiasm of the event. The successful participation of the Spread Happiness Foundation in this national event has been a source of pride for Odisha, showcasing the state’s rich cultural heritage on a national platform.
