Pune Traffic Police to hold Lok Adalat on March 3 to settle pending traffic cases
For the disposal of pending cases related to violation of traffic rules, Lok Adalat will be organized on 3rd March 2024.
As per further information from Pune Traffic Police, pursuant to the said Lok Adalat dated 24/8/2023, a meeting was held between Deputy Commissioner of Police, Traffic Police, Secretary, Pune District Legal Services Authority & First Class Judicial Magistrate, Motor Vehicle Court, Shivajinagar, Pune.
According to the discussion held in the said meeting, from 8/2/2024, at Traffic Branch Office, Bungalow No. 6, Near Yerawada Post Office, Pune, a facility of ‘Help Desk’ has been started for information regarding relaxation of fines after settlement of pending traffic bills.
Under it, for public interest and to dispose of pending cases, the issuance of pending traffic violations on citizens’ vehicles will be exempted after compromise.
The drivers/owners whose vehicles have pending cases regarding violation of traffic rules can go to the Traffic Police Headquarters from 8/2/2024 between 11.00 AM to 14.00 PM and 15.00 PM to 17.00 PM & discuss about reducing fines.
