Pune, January 20, 2026: Educational institutions in several parts of Pune will remain closed on Tuesday, January 21, due to the organisation of Stage 2 of the Bajaj Pune Grand Tour 2026, an international cycling competition.

According to police authorities, the Stage 2 race will be conducted on January 21 and will pass through key city routes including East Street (Ladies Club), Khanya Maruti Chowk, Pulgate, Solapur Bazaar Chowki, Golibar Maidan, Lullanagar Chowk, Jyoti Hotel Chowk, Khadi Machine Chowk, Yeolewadi and Bopdev Ghat.

As the race route and adjoining roads will remain completely closed to traffic for several hours, significant disruption to daily movement is expected.
