Shocking Accident in Pune : Water tanker hits two-wheeler in Pimple Saudagar ; biker loses life
On 21st February 2024 (Wednesday), a horrifying accident took place near Sai Ambience Society, Kate Vasti in Pimple Saudagar when a water tanker hit a two-wheeler. The two-wheeler rider died on the spot.
The road where this accident took place is under repairs as per local residents. They are demanding immediate repairs from the Pimpri Chinchwad Municipal Corporation (PCMC) and the Smart City cell.
Sachin Desai, Resident of Rajaveer Palace, Pimple Saudagar, said “We need proper roads too. Kunal Icon road has been messed up. Smart City road work is pending.”
Giving further details about the accident, Amol Morale, Police Officer, said “A water tanker hit a two-wheeler near Sai Ambience Society on Kunal Icon Road. The water tanker & the two-wheeler were going on the same route. Prima facie it is seen that the water tanker hit the two-wheeler, causing the two-wheeler rider to fall. The rider came under the back wheel of the tanker.”
As per further information, the 38-year-old deceased was a resident of Kate Wasti, who hailed from Bhor.
