Shocking !!! Vice president of insurance company in Pune sexually harassed, colleagues booked by Yerwada police

Pune: A 47 year old vice president of a Pune based insurance company has been sexually harassed by her seniors. Four senior officials from the company have been booked by the Yerwada Police.

As per the complaint filed by the victim, her senior officials from finance, administration, legal compliance department and one more have been booked under relevant sections by the Yerwada Police.

In her complaint, the victim claims that, accused forced her to accept and release of one of her junior’s resignation on immediate basis but the victim refused to do that and the accused threatened her to release her call recording.

Victim claimed that, “This is only reason to target me, in fact I was the whistle blower in a financial fraud committed by them, hence in order to target me, they harassed me.”

The entire incident was reported between October and November 2023. The victim in her complaint mentioned that, on 8 November 2023, that one of the accused called her in a coffee shop to settle the issue but during discussion sexually molested her and threatened to fire her from the job.

Accused is the wife of the Army officer, even after knowing that, Yerwada Police refused to register her complaint and threatened her to invoke serious charges against her.

Frustrated victim approached the Police commissioner and narrated the entire incident to him. As per the instructions given by the police commissioner, an FIR has been registered at Yerwada Police station under sections of 354, 354 A, 504, 506, 509.
