The tech company is encouraging people to send their “shagun” money using a QR code that is integrated into the vibrant rangoli. A video posted on Google India’s official Instagram shows the rangoli displayed at the entrance, featuring a message for visitors: “Send Shagun To Enter.”
A guest dressed in traditional attire is shown arriving and scanning the QR code to send a payment of Rs 500 via Google Pay. After sending the “shagun,” he is warmly welcomed inside. The caption of the video reads, “Masti rukni nahi chahiye #KeepTraditionsAlive.”
The creative idea has attracted a lot of interest on social media, captivating and amusing users. Many people expressed their thoughts in the comments section. The company promotes it with the tagline, “Dekho Dekho, Diwali aa gayi… even on Search.”
