On 12th March 2024, a solar project was installed & commissioned in My Home Co-operative Housing Society in Punawale. The society plans to save on huge electricity bills through this solar project.

As per further information shared by the secretary of My Home Cooperative Housing Society, Punawale, Yesterday, on 12 March 2024, a 60 KW solar project was commissioned in My Home Cooperative Housing Society, Punawale. The society is expected to save about 40 to 50 percent of the electricity bill in which about seven and a half thousand units per month will be generated. Today the society is getting a bill of Rs 1.5 to 2 lakh per month.

In the future, the electricity bill of the society will be reduced to a large extent and this project will be invested by Aarey Agency and electricity will be provided to the society at a reasonable rate. The society has entered into an agreement with the Solar Operating Agency for ten years. The cost of this project is fully borne by the investor. Also, this project has been done without any additional surcharge from the society members.

Yesterday, Navnath Dhavale, Director, Adhira International School Punawale has inaugurated it with pooja. At that time, the society management committee and the residents of the society were present. Madhur Taneja Chairman, Atul Malode, Secretary and Treasurer Neeraj Patil, Jayant More, Rupesh Kolhe, Kapadia and other dignitaries were present on behalf of the committee.
