Tragic Accident From Pune: 15-Year-Old Cyclist Died In Kalyani Nagar
Pune, 20 July 2024 – A tragic accident occurred this morning around 8:30 AM in front of the Marigold Society in Kalyani Nagar, Yerawada. A 15-year-old boy named Shashwat Ram Bogade, a student residing in Kumar Kruti Society, Kalyani Nagar involving a Hyundai car while riding his bicycle to school. Unfortunately, he was pronounced dead upon arrival at Sahyadri Hospital, Yerwada.
The car driver, identified as 37-year-old Ravikant Ramdin Gaur, a resident of Rohan Nigam Apartment, Viman Nagar, has been taken into custody. Sub-Inspector Lamkhade, along with medical examiners, conducted a thorough examination and confirmed that the driver was not under the influence of alcohol at the time of the accident.
CCTV footage from the scene has been reviewed, and statements from the deceased boy’s father are being recorded. Further investigation in the case is being held.
