Tree Fell on Auto Rickshaw in Kothrud ; 3 Injured
In a horrifying incident, a massive tree fell onto an auto rickshaw near Dashabhuja Ganapati Mandir in Kothrud. 3 people inside the rickshaw were injured.
Speaking to Pune Pulse, Gajanan Pathrudkar, Fire Station Officer, PMC Kothrud Fire Station, said “On 7th October at 9:15 am, a huge Gulmohar tree fell on top of an auto rickshaw near Dashabhuja Ganapati Mandir. The auto rickshaw has been completely destroyed with no part left to identify. Along with the auto rickshaw, two more two-wheeler vehicles were parked there. However, one of them is partially damaged while the other isn’t damaged.”
As per further information by Pathrudkar, the fire officers immediately reached the spot. The fallen tree has been removed.
3 people sitting inside the auto rickshaw have been seriously injured. One has suffered severe injury on his knee bone, one has suffered injuries on his head & one is suffering from muscle pain.
All injured have been admitted to Sassoon Hospital where they are undergoing appropriate treatment. No casualties have happened.
