Two and half year old Wakad resident records her name in international book of records

Two and half years old Samanvee Chandekar, a Wakad resident has registered her name in the International Book of Records for being the youngest person to answer names of all the Indian states and union territories in 52 seconds.

Samanvee has one more glorious achievement in her name. She had made it to the India Book of Records for identifying many things like flags and currencies of different countries, answering general knowledge questions and reciting many English rhymes at the age of 2.2 years.

Her mother Shilpa Chandekar is an assistant professor at Sri Balaji University, Pune and her father Pravin Chandekar is a software engineer at Knorr Bremse Technology Center, Pune.

Her mother speaking about Samanvee’s achievement said, “She is a good observer and an inquisitive child. When she was 1.5 years old, her parents noticed that she is a quick learner and has photographic memory. Her parents realized that she has potential to grasp new things and so she can set the record. Looking at her talent and interest, her parents approached the International Book of Records. She went on to break the previous record and received the certificate and medal from the International Book of records.”

Samanvee’s parents stated that they want their daughter to grow strong, passionate and warm-hearted human being and she will have a free hand to choose her career. They mentioned that, Samanvee’s grandfather Lala Gaidhani who is a retired principal (Samarth High School and Jr. college, Ramtek) is her constant source of motivation.
