As per further information, on Wednesday, the screen at Ruby Hall station flashed Metro to Vanaz due in a few minutes, but then changed to arriving in 7 minutes.

A Metro arrived, but at a very slow pace, sending a signal to the passengers that something was wrong. Passengers were almost leaning against the closed doors, pushing against each other to try and get inside. After a few seconds of waiting, they realized that the doors might not be open to them. The Metro then honked twice and departed the platform.

A few minutes later, another Metro pulled up. Passengers were pointing out the two cancelled trains to each other and comparing the Pune metro to the Mumbai local. Hence, two trains were cancelled.
