Pune: On Sunday midnight, an unidentified vehicle collided with a two-wheeler and a pedestrian on the Pune-Solapur National Highway, resulting in the death of three individuals and critically injuring three.
As per the information, the unidentified vehicle was travelling towards Solapur from Pune when it collided with the two-wheeler and pedestrian near Mukadamwadi flyover. The deceased have been identified as Arif Syed Mulani and Muna Syed Mulani, both residents of Solapur district.
As per the information received, another pedestrian, Amyan Sadiq Khan, a resident of Jonpur Uttar Pradesh, also succumbed to injuries. Suresh Eknath Raut and Ganesh Madhukar Shahan, both residents of Nimgaon Ketki in Indapur district, were injured and are currently receiving treatment at a private hospital in Daund.
The police have registered an FIR against the unidentified vehicle and the driver.
